#UNINSTALL LIVESTATION SERIES#
All current Buffalo NAS units support SMB version 2 at a minimum, and the TS3010/TS3020/TS5010/TS6000/LS700 series support SMB version 3, which is currently the newest version of the SMB protocol.
It is therefore recommended that data on these units be migrated to a newer platform and the older NAS retired.
#UNINSTALL LIVESTATION UPDATE#
Currently there is no plan to update these older NAS devices to add support for newer SMB versions. Most older Buffalo NAS devices do not support SMB version 2 or above. The reason for this is this early version of the SMB protocol is inherently insecure and is considered a security risk.

If you've recently been getting errors with livestation.exe it's recommend you unisntall or re-install any programs recently that may have generated this error. If you do not plan on using the program associated with livestation.exe we suggest instead of disabling the process from starting up that you uninstall the program. Therefore we suggest downloading and running the free Startup Control Panel to quickly and correctly disable this program from automatically starting up. If this program is loading each time your computer starts it could be in any number of locations Windows use to automatically load a program. How do I prevent livestation.exe from loading?
